As a photographer, if you’re friends with the person getting married, you're not only personally invested in not only the photos, but also in the day itself and joining them for the surreal ride that is 'a wedding day'. Everything is just kind of amplified that bit extra.
Emma and I know each other through our careers in photography, so I was really flattered when she called me up six months before her wedding, super excited because she'd just booked her amazing venue and to see if I was available to shoot the big day.
I’ve been so eager for this to come round and was pleased as punch to be asked to take on the job.
Not only did they choose the beautiful Cotswold Countryside Mickleton Hills Farm - Wedding Venue , they had some awesome suppliers on board! Caviar & Chips your food was truly phenomenal! Please see below for all the others suppliers that I could grab the names of on the day.
Oh and that dress… I made lots of noise when I unveiled it from its covering. Emma looked so elegant, I loved the high neck and the asymmetric bow detailing. I’ve never seen a dress like it.
Special mention goes to Barney the ring bearer… the only wedding supplier to take biscuits as payment.The goodest.
