Rachele and Anthony - The High House - Warwickshire Wedding Photographer

I had so much fun looking back through Rachele and Anthony's wedding photos. One of those days where the energy and atmosphere sweeps you off your feet and you truly feel part of something very special. There were so many personal touches - from the handmade wedding signage by Rachele's talented sisters and doughnut stand by Pops himself, to the Brides talented best mate singing during the ceremony and late into the night with her band Petit Rouge. I just love the flow of wed

    THINKING ON YOUR FEET

During client consultations, I often get asked if I have shot at a particular venue before. The honest answer is sometimes I have and sometimes I haven’t. There are so many venues in the West Midlands alone - not to mention the rest of the UK. Personally speaking, it makes no difference to me if I have or I haven’t because there are advantages and disadvantages to both. The advantages to having shot at a venue before is that you are confident in knowing key photo locations. T

My first paid wedding gig - 4 years ago!

So here’s a slice of what my first ever paid wedding gig looked like. Helen and Tom’s beautiful wedding at Kelmarsh Hall was back in 2012. The thing is, I really, really loved it all. Although I wasn't the main photographer, I loved the fact that I could get paid to photograph people - it felt like a dream. So much so that it felt too good to be true and so I shied away for a couple of years. Isn't it silly that the thing that you often want most seems too unobtainable that y

Emma & Tim - Curradine Barns Wedding Photography

Emma and Tim, thank you so much for giving your all to my camera! Your energy was so infectious and it was a blast photographing your wedding at Curradine Barns. Although I was only with you for a short time, your kindness penetrated me and I came away buzzing. I love the romance, the 'hold-me-tight' kisses the beauty and the friendship in your relationship. As I am with many couples - totally spoilt. Plus you're ruddy beautiful people so it makes my job too easy really. As I

Esther and Desmond - Birmingham Engagement Photography

What an amazing thing to get booked by a couple who put just as much energy and enthusiasm into their engagement shoot as you do. I was in my element - it was all about fun and our adventures around Birmingham - the places that hold significance to Esther and Desmond. Its traditional in Singapore to wear your wedding outfits for an engagement shoot, something I was quite surprised by when Esthers initial enquiry came through. I'm embarrassed to admit that it wasn't until we a

Lauren and Chris - West Midlands Wedding Photography at Soulton Hall

These winter weddings are just beautiful - dark, wet, moody and provide a totally differnt feel to summer wedding photography. Lauren and Chris were married at the gorgeous (yet totally wonky) Soulton Hall near Shrewsbury. I had a brilliant day and loved shooting for one of my faves - Darren Gair Photography. Their wedding decor was like a winter wonderland - beautiful golds and silvers amidst white twigs on the girls boquets and pop's of warm, deep orange that seemed to refl
