Laura & Pete - Over Barn, Gloucestershire Wedding Photography

Laura and Pete - this was very much your day. From the bottom up, you designed this wedding with every detail of your relationship in mind.

The best way I can describe this wedding is Glastonbury in a barn. Their choice in Over Barn, Gloucestershire was just spot on too - they chose one that was just a shell to begin with, one that they could fill with their many musical memories together, with bunting and vintage jam jars, with a photo booth, skittle alley, hoopla, an actual 'chill out zone', miniature tipi's, folk singer, food (lots of food - traditional British mixed with Jamaican Jerk chicken, rice and peas - yum!), drink and not to mention all their family and friends.

It was a true festival wedding - with some camping over the night after the party.

Along with an authentic type wedding, you need to have a truly authentic couple - of which Laura and Pete are. They are just one of those couples - I know they loved having everyone there to celebrate their wedding, but I could see they were desperate to hang out, have a laugh and take everything in together. I can see in their eyes that they are so proud to belong to each other, they were just such a pleasure to photograph.

The evening party was wicked too - Dads dancing on tables, kids raiding the sweet table acting like zombies, a proper rendition of 'oops upside your head' and to finish off, the guests chanting 'Come on Laura' to Dexy's Midnight Runners. Bloody brilliant.

Thanks for having me!
