I've known Amy for a little while now, we became friends through our mutual friend Danielle (I think Dan enjoys finding friends called Amy - spelt the right way of course). I had so much fun shooting this wedding, also thanks to one of my best 'tog pals Simon of Simon Brettell Photography, who joined us for their wedding. The couple both made it their mission to make everyone feel MARVELLOUS on their day, I was totally spoilt rotten, thanks so much for being such great hosts.
I photographed Charlotte and Chris' wedding back in October 2014 at Warwick House in Southam. It was beautiful and simplistic and the venue was perfect. Although you wouldnt have put Charlotte down as a white-wedding-dress-kinda-girl, this is exacly what she opted for at the time. Now, a couple of yours on, her undercut hair style has re-appeared and she is very much embracing a style that she feels very comfortable in - back to her punk, alternative roots. With all of this i
YOU ARE MY INSPIRATION
As a photographer, wedding photography in particular puts you in good stead for pretty much any other type of photography job. I can’t think of any other commission whereby the variables change so quickly and you have to be ready. Not only ready but the expectation is to produce your best work every time. The weather, the lighting, the guests, the couples, the venue staff, the timings, the group shots, the locations - all need to be photographed in th
Chrissy from the Wedding Quarter, Birmingham hosted a hugely successful Designer Open weekend, showcasing their collection of Alfred Angelo wedding dresses. Amidst the wedding talk, there was fizz, cake and ofcourse some wonderful brides to be trying on wedding dressees, some for their first time. I was in my element chatting and photographing, It was such a pleasure to capture this event and I look forward to working with Chrissy more when I finally move to our new home in t

You may have some special requests or things you aren't sure about, so you ask a few more questions. You may want something that isn't listed on my website. Which ever it is, I will always try to accommodate where I can.

I get excited by all of my work. I love what I do, I'm so lucky. What makes it really nice is when a couple really 'get' what you do and enjoy the ride with you. I shot Laura and Adams Birmingham wedding with the very talented Darren Gair Photography. He blew me away with his contribution, as always. Infact, it was Adam saying 'You two are the dogs b****cks' whilst we were working on their couples portraits at The Plough and Harrow that gave that extra reassurance that it was
HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT WEDDING PHOTOS? The morning of the wedding. Your photographer arrives at your house for prep photos. How do you feel about having your wedding photos taken? Have you discussed this with them or even thought about it yourself? Do you feel self assured? Confident?
Maybe not. More like nervous and embarrassed. That is, if you are like most people.
Irrelevant of looks, most people become anxious in front of a camera. The reason for this is vulnerability
Bal has a lovely family. Her son is very expressive and has an amazing imagination. Her daughter is so much wiser and older than her years let on. She is super protective over her brother and also their Jack Russell pup. I got to know them through SAFS in Smethwick, Birmingham. I've worked with SAFS on a number of occasions, they do amazing work with families with disability. Bal's family were dubious about going out of the house, so we did the whole mini-shoot in their garde
