Just to get this straight - wedding photography is really important. Its important for many reasons, not least because of the matter of longevity and being able to share your memories with your family for years, it is also important because it is essentially a curated gallery of your nearest and dearest on one of the most important days of your life. In the case of Nicola and Dale, we had our first meet at a coffee shop in Solihull and the second one was actually the wedding
When I met Carol and Paul, it couldn't have been a better day to have met them, personally speaking.. They are a true testament to the fact that love can happen at any point and time in your life...and on this day, at Hogarths Solihull, , 17 years on, it was finally time for them to tie the knot. Their family and friends will understand this sentiment exactly - cheers and whistles during their outdoor ceremony, I get the impression they had been waiting for this day a long ti
I photographed Charlotte and Chris' wedding back in October 2014 at Warwick House in Southam. It was beautiful and simplistic and the venue was perfect. Although you wouldnt have put Charlotte down as a white-wedding-dress-kinda-girl, this is exacly what she opted for at the time. Now, a couple of yours on, her undercut hair style has re-appeared and she is very much embracing a style that she feels very comfortable in - back to her punk, alternative roots. With all of this i
I had the honour of photographing Wendy and Colin's Golden Wedding Anniversary on Friday (12th Feb 2016) at the gorgeous Hogarths Hotel in Solihull, Birmingham. The room looked just fantastic with beautiful handmade decorations - including tiny cupcakes in glass domes for the guests - made by Wendy's talented daughter. Their Golden Wedding Anniversary was a really fun family event, I was spoilt for choice with moments to capture. If you would like to hear more about my though
During our initial meeting, Lisa and Steve explained to me that they were after some really relaxed, candid photography on their wedding day and weren't too keen on any formal, posed photographs. After hearing this, I knew we'd be a good fit and I felt confident that I would be able to use my soft, documentary approach to its fullest. On the day of the wedding, I met Lisa in one of The Ardens hotel rooms, whereby I was greeted by a merry bridal party, all whizzing around with
We may have met at a fair, you may have found me online, I may have even been fortunate enough to be a recommendation. Either way, you got to the point where you dropped me and e-mail or a phone call to ask for my availability.
You may have some special requests or things you aren't sure about, so you ask a few more questions. You may want something that isn't listed on my website. Which ever it is, I will always try to accommodate where I can.
Because you are my invest
"We are in a digital dark age", or so the Google's vice president Vint Cerf told us in last Fridays Metro newspaper. Just think now about all the outmoded forms of storage - floppy disks, VHS, even CD's. Try to find a machine that will read these devices... scary! We all love using social media as our go to for sharing our lives - for Birthdays, our children's first steps, our achievements (not to mention our countless culinary feats) and even Wedding photos. Its the quickest
What a beautiful wedding! Officially the wettest day of the year for Amy and Matt, but if anything they embraced it and it made for wonderful photos. I was asked by Silverstar Photographic to help out on their wedding, as Michelle and Rich from Silverstar were then expecting (and now have) a beautiful baby boy! Thanks for having me along Silverstar and congratulations on your new arrival. Amy and Matt were such a pleasure to be around, so kind and friendly, there was so much
