THIS IS COOPER TIME! (Again) and it is just as glorious the second time looking back through your images. Guys, this wedding was incredible. I still remember Robins words 'Imagine your dream music lineup... then imagine they got together on the day of your wedding'. They planned their day around this festival, officially a second home for the couple and also somewhere I've been desperate to go to for years. Their whole day was just a massive slice of Terri and Robin pie. Ever
We may have met at a fair, you may have found me online, I may have even been fortunate enough to be a recommendation. Either way, you got to the point where you dropped me and e-mail or a phone call to ask for my availability.
You may have some special requests or things you aren't sure about, so you ask a few more questions. You may want something that isn't listed on my website. Which ever it is, I will always try to accommodate where I can.
Because you are my invest
HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT WEDDING PHOTOS? The morning of the wedding. Your photographer arrives at your house for prep photos. How do you feel about having your wedding photos taken? Have you discussed this with them or even thought about it yourself? Do you feel self assured? Confident?
Maybe not. More like nervous and embarrassed. That is, if you are like most people.
Irrelevant of looks, most people become anxious in front of a camera. The reason for this is vulnerability
At the beginning of August, I had an amazing opportunity to photograph with Simon Brettell for Ellie and Jack's Italian themed wedding. The wedding took place at Birmingham Register Office and then a second ceremony and reception at The Bond Company, Digbeth. I started off with Jack, his groomsmen and his cat at their home in Yardley Wood, then met up with Ellie and the rest of their wedding party at Birmingham Register Office. I sensed from the get go that this was going to
Paul was kind enough to let me take a few shots of him as he unpacked his Wedding Photo Book for the first time. Together we worked on a layout that was clean and timeless - there are no jazzy borders or special effects in my Wedding Photo Books, we let the pictures speak for themselves. The design is for simplicity and elegance - I know most things go out of date quite quickly, but I want you to be able to enjoy these photo's in 20 years time. Nothing compares to a print, th
It took me a while to think of a name for this shoot. Then slowly, as I worked on the edit, I began to hear Ella Fitzgerald's timeless classic 'Summertime' in my head. It feels apt to have a timeless song for a timeless beauty - may I present Alice once again. This time she is at home in her Fathers in Edgbaston. Having left everything till the last minute - we pushed ourselves to dream up ideas for our mini shoot upon arriving at the house. Myself, Stephanie Alice and Carol
Summer holidays have been a sore subject this year as weddings seem to have taken priority. Not that I'm complaining ofcourse, but it has meant that myself and Alistair have only been able to catch the odd few days here and there. Here's some 'holiday snaps' from our camping pod experience in Shropshire. It was beautiful. There was lots of green valleys, wooly sheep and ofcourse Dan and Loz for endless entertainment. Highlights from the trip were: rescuing a lamb with its hea
We can't get enough of this family. My boyfriend Alistair has known Mike Worthington from childhood. Since then he has produced two beautiful children and is married to the wonderful Charlene. Maximus, their son, has the most infectious smile and has a great enthusiam for anything motor/animal related. He is also really enthusiastic about his little sister Chloe too, who has the best eyes and newborn back-chub I've ever seen. Despite the fact that I want Chloe and Maximus to
Dumbleton Hall is pretty spectactular and what better place to have a traditional white wedding for Paul and Kelly. I was employed by Workhorse Weddings to shoot their big day and it was such a pleasure. Seeing how in love Paul and Kelly were bought everything together - Kelly was one excited bride! There was lots of love, friendship and laughter all around which made photographing for a few hours them all the more fun. Here's to your future Paul and Kelly! #relaxedphotograph
What a beautiful wedding. Love and friendship at every corner. Laughter, tears, celebration and style pouring out at the Birmingham REP. Being such an international affair, the selection of friends and family each bought not only a selection of languages, but also the gift of love from around the world - what an amazing mix. When we initially met to discuss wedding photos, the couple just wanted candid photos. No posing, just lots of happines and joy. I knew we would be a goo
Back in May, me and one of my favourites, Alice took a wet plate workshop with the incredible Laura Peters. Our plates arrived in the post this morning and I fell in love all over again! Its almost like they grew more beautiful over time. I struggled a lot with posing because I'm so unused to being infront of the camera. But, my strange squinty frown has grown on me. Alice has an ethereal beauty, which is perfectly in keeping with the process of wet plate photography. I learn
